Created by Philippe Ledoux for Hermès, L’Hiver en Poste pays tribute to the golden age of 19th-century postal coaches and English stagecoaches. The design depicts teams of horses traversing snowy landscapes and features a spectacular central scene representing the Bull & Mouth Western Coach Office at Regent’s Circus, Piccadilly. A red and green tartan border, punctuated by stagecoach wheels at the four corners, highlights the scarf’s British inspiration. First issued in 1975, this historic design has since seen several reissues.
